The Sylva Garden Club is hosting its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 5 beginning at 9:30am. The meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Sylva Presbyterian Church. Please wear a mask. Refreshments will be served prior to the business meeting to begin at 10:00am. Starting at 11:00am, SGC member Kathy Montgomery, a long time professional landscaper and gardener, will demonstrate creating a floral arrangement using fresh flowers. She will address: design, materials, tools, conditioning, sources, holiday themes, and flowers that work well in floral arrangements as well as those that do not. This meeting is available via Zoom.
