Description
Wanda Mills will present a multimedia short story program at the Jackson County Public Library Wanda Mills is from Jackson County and lives in the Ochre Hill Community in the home where she and her sister, Nelda, grew up. She has an Associate Degree in Early Children Specialist from Southwestern Community College and has also taken classes in creative writing.
Wanda began writing in her early twenties and has recently started writing poetry and short stories again. A lot of her writings reflect her experiences living with cerebral palsy. Wanda has found, because of her difficulty in speaking, she is able to convey her thoughts and ideas through her poems and stories. Wanda feels writing is a way to express herself in a short and concise way. For more information about Wanda Mills, please visit her at www.rollingintothefuture.com.
The event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library
