Description
Ricardo Nazario-Colon is a Puerto Rican poet, language teacher, former Marine, a co-founder of the Affrilachian poets, and the Chief Diversity Officer for Western Carolina University. About the Spring Literary Festival (March 21-28): We seek to support a love of reading in Western North Carolina while providing exposure to new literary voices. Our area has a rich literary heritage all its own and this festival strives to secure that heritage's place on the nation's literary stage by bringing local and national writers together.
