About the Spring Literary Festival (March 21-28): We seek to support a love of reading in Western North Carolina while providing exposure to new literary voices. Our area has a rich literary heritage all its own and this festival strives to secure that heritage's place on the nation's literary stage by bringing local and national writers together. The Spring Literary Festival is a reflection of Western Carolina University's commitment to bringing the best of the arts and education to the mountains. We hope that you'll join us this year. Dive into our schedule for more information about our visiting artists.
