6:00 PM - 7:00 PM EST
LOCATION: Blue Ridge Conference Center
We need to talk about climate change and its impacts. Due to the growing impacts arising from the changes within our climate, we are holding a Pecha Kucha Night on the Impacts of Climate Change where select faculty present their perspectives, opinions, and ideas about climate change within their respective fields of study. Pecha Kucha is a lightning storytelling format, where a presenter shows 20 slides for 20 seconds of commentary each (6 minutes and 40 seconds total)
Come and learn how climate change is influencing organizations’ decision making, how engineering is addressing the United Nations sustainability goals, how geology is changing, and much, much more!
Note: This is a Lily Award Program-Awareness/Advocacy and a Personal Development Plan Program for the Costa Rica Trip.
Hosts: Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning; One Book; Office of Student Transitions; Sustainability and The Environment Campus Theme
DegreePlus Skill: Cultural Responsiveness
