Out of the Darkness Campus Walk - The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is the nation’s leading not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.
The purpose of the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk is to raise funds to support AFSP’s research, education, advocacy and survivor programs; raise awareness about this major health issue, reduce stigma and to involve college and high school students in AFSP’s efforts to prevent suicide and help those impacted by suicide.
