Reception for Outspoken: Paintings by America Meredith
Thursday, February 21 from 5-7PM
Join the Museum and visiting artist, America Meredith for a reception and gallery talk beginning at 5:45. This exhibition draws particular attention to the importance of language in America Meredith's work, bringing together paintings that incorporate Cherokee syllabary, reference Cherokee oral histories, and pair found-object text with visual imagery.
The WCU Fine Art Museum is free and open to the public Tuesday through Friday 10-4PM and Thursday 10-7PM. Free parking is available on site.
